On the other hand, QTVR is the popular web standard for viewing panoramic
photograms. QuickTime VR (Virtual Reality) by Apple Computer is well
known for its ability to display high resolution images with exceptional
quality. It also integrates powerful features such as audio and
hotspots (clickable regions in the photo) for use in virtual tours.
QuickTime is a feature of all apple computers and can be downloaded for PCs
from the Apple website.

Java Applet and QuickTime VR. Java Applet based 360 panoramas using
the PT viewer (copyright Helmut Dersch) have their strong points. Most
PC computers are java enabled meaning the vast majority of potential clients
will be able to view the photos without needing to download a plugin.
Also, Java based panoramas can be viewed on PC or Mac platforms.
